Dodgers add 3 to 40-man roster
SAN DIEGO (AP) - The Los Angeles Dodgers finalzed their roster on Monday when they purchased the contracts of right-hander Ronald Belisario, infielder Doug Mientkiewicz and left-hander Will Ohman from Triple-A Las Vegas.

The Dodgers also placed right-hander Claudio Vargas on the 60-day disabled list with right elbow tendinitis and outfielder Delwyn Young on 15-day DL retroactive to March 27 with a right elbow impingement.

Left-hander Greg Miller was given his unconditional release.

Mientkiewicz, who signed a minor league contract on Feb. 26, will make $550,000. The 34-year-old played for six major league teams during his 11-year career and won a Gold Glove as Minnesota's first baseman in 2001. His .996 career fielding percentage in 955 games is tops among active first basemen.

Ohman, who signed a minor league contract with major league terms last Tuesday, will make $1.35 million and has a deal that include a $2.2 million club option for 2010 with a $200,000 buyout. He played for the Atlanta Braves last year.

Belisario had been reassigned to minor league camp on March 6 without making an appearance in a Cactus League game, then rejoined the big league club on March 30. He signed as a minor league free agent on Jan. 13.
