The Dodgers made three first-inning runs stand up in a 3-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks Tuesday night to improve their home record to 12-0, equaling the post-1900 major league record set by the 1911 Detroit Tigers. The Dodgers have won six consecutive games overall. Their 20-8 record is the best in Major League Baseball and their best start through 28 games since 1983, when they were 21-7. Washington is 7-17.
Clayton Kershaw (0-2) is scheduled to be the Dodgers' starting pitcher, facing Washington's Daniel Cabrera (0-2).
