Leach, the Dodgers' sixth-round pick in the 2005 amateur draft out as a college senior, was added to the 40-man roster this past winter.
--OF Matt Kemp is hitting just .154 (6-for-39) over his past 11 games through Sunday, during which time he had struck out 15 times. That skid coincided with the end of his season-opening, 14-game hitting streak. He went 0-for-4 on Sunday, striking out in each of his first three plate appearances. BY THE NUMBERS: 10 -- Consecutive home wins to begin the season for the Dodgers, the most in franchise history. The 1946 Brooklyn Dodgers won their first nine games at Ebbets Field. The start also ties the modern-day National League record held by the 1983 Atlanta Braves (also managed by Joe Torre), the 1970 Chicago Cubs and the 1918 New York Giants. The major-league record for consecutive home wins to start a season is 12 by the 1911 Detroit Tigers.
