Pirates trade minor leaguers for Dodgers outfielder Young
The Pirates have acquired outfielder Delwyn Young from the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for two minor league players to be named later.

Young, 26, was the Dodgers' fourth-round draft pick in 2002. He's played a total of 110 games in the majors over the past three seasons and batted .267 with three homers, 10 RBI and a .331 on-base percentage.

Monday, Young was activated from the minor league disabled list and designated for assignment by the Dodgers. The Pirates have been scouting Young since last season. He name came up during offseason trade talks involving shortstop Jack Wilson.
