Local baseball fans are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Manny Ramirez, who is scheduled to make appearances both on and off the baseball diamond while in Taiwan.

The 38-year-old Ramirez has played for three different teams in his 17-year Major League career and hit over 500 home runs.
Ramirez has an impressive resume: nine Silver Slugger awards, 11 All-Star game appearances and two World Series rings. He holds the record for most home runs in postseason play.
